High-Pressure Cleaning

Clean first. Coat later. In that order.

You cannot paint over dirt, algae or chalk and expect it to last. Cleaning is preparation. Done properly, or not at all.

Problem & approach

Where these projects go wrong, and how we handle them.

The usual problem

Painting over an unclean substrate is the single most common reason coatings fail early. On driveways, roofs and facades, algae and chalk act like a release layer between the substrate and any new product.

Our approach

We clean at the correct pressure for each surface, use appropriate biocides where needed, and rinse thoroughly before the surface is signed off as ready for coating, or simply handed back clean.

What may be included

Scope you can actually read.

The exact line items on your quote depend on the site inspection. This is the shape of what a typical project of this type includes.

  • Surface assessment and dust/plant protection
  • Correct pressure and nozzle selection per surface
  • Biocide or mould-treatment application where required
  • Thorough rinse and clean-down
  • Sign-off as ready for coating (if painting to follow)

Our process

Seven steps from enquiry to handover.

  1. 1

    Enquiry and initial phone assessment

  2. 2

    On-site assessment of surfaces

  3. 3

    Written quotation with clear scope

  4. 4

Protection of plants, windows and fittings

  5. 5

Cleaning to correct pressure per surface

  6. 6

    Rinse, dry and quality check

  7. 7

    Handover and workmanship confirmation

Honest limits

What we will tell you up front.

A proper contractor should be honest about what a service can and cannot do. These are the things we will always flag.

  • High pressure can damage soft or weathered surfaces if misused; we will always test and adjust.
  • Deeply set stains, oil and rust marks may not lift entirely with water alone.
  • Cleaning is not a substitute for waterproofing or painting where those are required.
