We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice, as that term is used in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

• Enquiry details you give us: name, phone number, email address, property suburb or address, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
• Project information gathered during a site inspection: photographs of the areas to be worked on, measurements, substrate condition notes and access notes.
• Technical information your browser sends when you visit: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring page. This is used in aggregate to keep the site working.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for identity numbers, banking details or any special personal information through this website.

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation. This is necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you, and it is the reason you gave us the information.
• To carry out and guarantee the work. Scope, specification and photographic records support the workmanship guarantee and any manufacturer product-guarantee application.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations. Invoices and related records must be retained by law.
• To keep the website secure and working. Based on our legitimate interest in running the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share only what is necessary, only with:

• Service providers who run this site and our inbox (website hosting, form delivery and email), acting as operators under written confidentiality obligations.
• Product manufacturers where a product-guarantee application or inspection requires the site address and specification for your project.
• Our accountants, and authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of our service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we use providers that are subject to comparable data-protection obligations.

• Enquiries that do not become projects: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Quotations, specifications and project records: kept for the duration of any guarantee period plus the retention period required by tax and company law.
• Project photographs used for marketing: kept until you ask us to stop using them.

We limit access to enquiry and project information to the people who need it to do the work, use reputable hosting and email providers, and keep our devices password-protected. No system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to prevent loss, damage and unauthorised access, and we will notify you and the Information Regulator of a reportable compromise as POPIA requires.

This site uses only the cookies and local storage needed to make pages work, for example remembering a form entry in your own browser during the preview stage. If we add analytics later, this notice will be updated to say what is measured and how to opt out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
