What Liquid Rubber is, and is not
Rubber Sealant Liquid Rubber is a cold-applied liquid membrane that cures into a seamless, flexible coating. On the right substrate, prepared correctly and applied to specification, it forms a continuous waterproofing layer with no seams to fail.
It is not, however, a magic paint. It cannot hold a roof together where the structure is failing. It cannot compensate for drainage that never worked. It cannot be applied over a wet, dusty or contaminated surface and be expected to bond.
Why 'approved applicator' matters
The 13-year manufacturer product guarantee that Liquid Rubber can carry is not automatic. It depends on manufacturer inspection, correct specification, correct application, certification and ongoing maintenance conditions. That is why the applicator being approved by the manufacturer matters. The paperwork behind the guarantee only stands up when the work behind it stands up.
Williams & Co is an approved applicator of Rubber Sealant Liquid Rubber. That means, on qualifying projects, we can work through the specification and certification process the guarantee depends on.
What we will not do
We will not apply Liquid Rubber over a substrate that is not ready. We will not promise a 13-year outcome on a project where the manufacturer inspection has not taken place or the specification is not being followed. We will always be transparent about what a guarantee does and does not cover on your specific project.
